Jared went hunting this past weekend so I did what any deer widow does... I went up to Logan to spend a few days at my mom's house. My sister Teresa and her family came up on Saturday so I could take some family pictures of them. My two little nephews were wigglier than ever and it was impossible to get them to sit still for a moment. The weather wasn't helping. It was really stormy, with dark thunderclouds. MUCH darker than I'm comfortable working with. I was sweating bullets that I was already at ISO 800, which produces grain, which means the photos take longer to edit because I have to remove the grain in Photoshop.... ugh. I was just a hoping and a praying that I could get some of these pictures reasonably in focus since I still don't really know what I'm doing. This fun red barn door is at the base of my parents property, behind the apple orchard.
I spent a few hours yesterday working on them so this is just a sneak peak for my sister. Don't I have cute nephews?!!!!!

I'm impressed. I wish we lived closer and I'd have you take photos of Abigail. They look great and the kids are adorable! Good job!
They look so much better than I thought they would. You forgot to mention that it rained on us. I can't believe we got one of him smiling. Thanks again!
Teresa
looks great!!! love them
Terrific photos and you did a fantastic job with the processing! They really look great, especially for ISO 800. My camera on that setting would look way too grainy, so much noise that if I removed it the photo would end up way too soft. What kind of camera do you have? -Mike
M- I have a Canon XTi and used a Tamron 28-75 lens :)
