I've been trying to teach our little munchkin how to say mama. Afterall, I'm the one she loves the most right? Here is how it's been going...
Me: "Say mama"
(silence)
Me: "Say mama"
Baby: "Dada"
Me: "Say mama"
Baby: "Dada"
Me: "Say MAMA!"
Baby: "Dadeeee"
Me: "Say MAMA!"
Baby: "Dada"

I feel your pain...Abigail did the same for a while. And then recently she wouldn't say Dad, now she says both....good luck!!

Welcome to my life as well. Em still won't say it. Well unless she's stuck somewhere or completely desperate for a snack and I"m not paying attention to her. It's not because she can't say it - it's because she won't. She gets this sly look on her face when you ask her to say mama and then with the most evil/cutest look on her face she gleefully shouts out "daddy!" Onery little munchkin...
It is so unfair, isn't it?
LOL Darn it! It just melts your heart when they finally say it. Hope she does it soon.
