Taking it Easy

We've been laying back and enjoying ourselves this week. We had a great time spending Easter weekend with my parents up in Logan. We had an easter egg hunt at grandma Olsen's and she gave Kylie a really beautiful lavender and green quilt with roses and leaves sewn on it. It's so pretty! My birthday was on Saturday and I was really sick the entire day. It stunk. My throat hurt really bad from a sore throat and I had a head cold and runny nose. Kylie's had a runny nose this week also.

Kylie has started to learn that if she swings her bum around she'll roll over. It's been fun to watch her flip around. She gets a lot of cheers from her mom and dad! A bunch of my girlfriends in my neighborhood pooled together and bought this activity center for her as a gift. It took me almost three hours to put it together and I'm happy to say that she loves it. I can tell she especially likes sitting upright. She'll play intently with each little toy and will slowly work her way around. I think she's becoming more interested in what I'm eating lately. Yesterday I was eating some applesauce and she kept looking at me like "Why aren't you sharing?".
