Crafts *Part Two*

Okay as promised here are some pictures of my little creation I made to go over Kylie's crib. I finished it a few days ago. It kind of evolved into what it is because I didn't want to screw five finials into my walls so this is what happened. The letters came from Hobby Lobby, the board I had made at Wood Connection, and the finials came from Iron Works in Draper. Though if I had to do it all over again I would have looked at Tai Pan for finials because I think I could have found them cheaper. I wish I would have chosen scrapbook paper with more "punch" to it, but it will be fine. Wala!

Here's what I made with the things I got at Wood Connection. Turned out cute huh! It's a gift that I'm sending to Abbie's counselor. She helped us out so much I don't know what we would have done without her. She's amazing.

On a runnier note we've had a bad case of the sniffles at this house. Kylie's nose has been a waterfall yesterday and has learned the "I hate having my nose wiped reflex". And today I had to take some airborne because I woke up with a sore throat and runny nose. Well, we are headed up to Logan this Easter weekend to see my family and to pick up my car. My dad, bless his heart has fixed it for me so hopefully I can eek out another few months out of it. We'd decided which car we want to buy, but are trying to save up a few more thousand for it.

I love Easter! It's one of my favorite holiday's and spring is my favorite season. I love the drearyness of winter being over and the new flowers, warmpth and new hope that spring brings. What a fitting season for Christ to be risen. And my grandma always hosts a killer easter egg hunt for all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. It even takes the adults at least an hour to find everything. Happy Easter everyone!

Super cute crafts!!! And it doesn't hurt that your camera makes them look like they could be purchased out of a catalog! :)

I've always wanted to make a board like that for our bathroom for the girls to hang their towels up. You have given me some great inspiration!
