I *heart* my Baby Girl ! ! !

And I *heart* my Camera.

After having a huge stash of pictures on my camera I finally downloaded them the other day. I've been having so much fun with my camera and I'm learning so much more about photography. I've been trying to work on getting good exposures. Which means I've been taking pictures in manual mode and use white balance and a grey card to try to nail down the exposure. Apparently a good photographer can nail exposure so you don't have to photoshop like the dickens afterward to correct the color. Lets just say I had to correct the color on ALL the pictures I downloaded this last time. I've got a humongous learning curve ahead of me. I ordered some noise reduction software today and I'm really excited to use it. I've been testing it out using a trial version but when it comes I'll show you what it does to pictures with a lot of noise & grain, which you get with pictures that are taken in low light or with a high ISO. Not that you care, of course. But I think it's pretty cool. I've spent a lot of time playing in photoshop lately!

And on a good note. Kylie slept twelve hours straight on Monday night. Yup you heard it from the source. TWELVE HOURS!!!!!!!!

Those are so beautiful! I am in LOVE with the first pic - the colors are perfect and her big gummy smile is just adorable!

Even with needing Photoshop to fix the colors, your photos are amazing! You are inspiring me to learn more about photography. Now I just need to take the time to read my manual and start playing more with my camera.

She looks really happy and content in all of these pictures. Maybe it really was that she didn't like us and that's why she was upset when we were at your house. :(
