It's been kind of an interesting weekend for me. We rarely have to get a sitter for Kylie, but this weekend we needed one two evenings in a row. Last night we had a wedding dinner that we attended at the Zio.ns Bank Building downtown and tonight we had a birthday party for a friend. We've probably only had sitters less than a half dozen times her whole life so it's odd for me to have left her twice in one weekend! I guess it's not too bad when I consider that she was sleeping for half of the time we were gone, but still :).

I found a little shirt to go under her costume this year, since it seems to be always freezing come Halloween. No announcement right now as to what she's going to be (I'll keep it a surprise and post pictures closer to the date) but she's so excited about it. We ask her what she's going to be for Halloween and she pipes right up about it! She begged to wear her costume today and so I caved in and let her roam around in her outfit for a few hours this afternoon. I have a feeling that having a box full of dress-ups might be something that will be in her future. She already loves to put my high heels on and prance around! I'm so excited that this will be her first year to go trick or treating. Since she's a little sugar-hound I'm sure once she catches on she'll be all over this tradition! Halloween and Christmas are the best holidays when you have children! We are so blessed. Incredibly blessed.

We are having Regional Conference tomorrow and looking forward to it.

I know what she is!!! So fun! When Ethan gets older we will have to join up and gather all the candy together.

I love how you say that Kylie is going to love Halloween because of all the candy. We all know it's the parents that love sneaking and eating all the kids candy!

Better start teaching her how to say "Trick or Treat" and "more please"!

I am so excited to see what Kylie is going to be! I'm so glad you like Halloween. It's always been my fave. I'm making costumes for my niece's little girl and for the twins and 3 of Jody's grandchildren. I just sent Myma a little girl lion costume. Way cute. I'm planning to get Kylie's B-Day gift in the mail tomorrow. Hope it makes it on time. I'm not paying the big bucks for fast shipping, so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Love you all SO much!
