Blessings Unnumbered

I probably shouldn't post when my mind is blank!

-I'm just loooooving the weather right now. It's fabulous! For the first time in years I've been keeping on top of the yardwork in the fall. Usually I have lots of motivation for yard work in spring and summer but August hits and I'm just DONE! This year I was better and it's been so nice to work outside this month. We planted a few more tree's and added a flagstone pathway on the side of the yard. Sure beats walking on bark mulch. The raspberries are going full force and Kipton loooooooves them. One day I gave him a bowl, told him to go pick raspberries and he came back in with 2-3 raspberries in his bowl. I was super impressed that any berries had made it inside. He gobbles them right up.

-I've been repainting some of our doors this week and installing new doorknobs/locks. Our door to the garage just up and broke one day so replacing that was quite the process since the hinges wouldn't come off. And I finally found the keys to some of our locks. We've not had a key to a single lock in this place for years and it just had to be done. 

-The kiddo's are keeping us busy as usual. Kylie was really excited to bring snacks for her preschool last week. Kipton is getting into EVERYTHING. Last week I spent hours re-baby proofing the house because that naughty little boy was dragging everything and anything out of my cupboards and driving me insane. He is in love with anything that can be plugged in. He is constantly dragging my blender, hair dryer, food dehydrator, fan out of the cupboard out and plugging them in. Makes for lots of entertainment, but me? Not so much. He also gives himself impromptu baths. He will disapear into the bathroom, climb on the toilet to get into the sink, turns on the water and before I know it is soaked from head to toe.

-Kylie is loving anything with Hello Kitty on it right now. Her jammies happen to have Hello Kitty on them and they are her absolute favorite, you know. She's also decided that she wants to be a certain red headed mermaid for Halloween this year. I think she's look so cute with her hair spray painted red so we'll have to see if I can pull that off. Kitpon will probably end up as cookie monster if I can get my sisters costume for him. It's got the cutest googly eyes made out of golf balls!
