hello!

Hi, sorry I haven't been around too much. My laptop crashed, much worse than last time (seems to be a yearly occurrence around now). So my computer time is more limited now. We've got to try and send it in for some data recovery. That makes me nervous because Jared is pretty good at doing that already, so when it's beyond his abilities you know its bad. I might get a new laptop out of the whole deal but I'd prefer to keep my old one a bit longer. We'll see what happens.

Christmas was so much fun! Santa came to our house for the first time in a few years. Usually we go up to my mom's but with two kids and a very full car there isn't any room to haul anything. On Christmas eve the kids got to open some new jammies and we told the Christmas story and Kylie re-enacted it. The next morning Kylie was very excited but didn't wake up early. So we opened presents around 10am!!

The little ones had so much fun opening gifts and Kylie "helped" Kipton open his too. Santa brought her a ladybug pillow pet (which she insists on going to bed everynight so that was a hit), megabloc.ks, some new clothes, a winter hat/gloves, a big box of dress ups from Miss A, dress up shoes, , and she found some Hello Kitty nail polish and coloring books/markers in her stocking. Kipton got a toy police car, a light-up laptop that has a bunch of buttons for him to push and some clothes. We had a good time! My favorite part about the holiday was that Jared was able to take the entire week after off. It was HEAVEN!
