(Jared and I after dinner at the Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie Hawaii)

Well, both Jared and I unintentionally managed to get ourselves sunburned yesterday. I forgot to put sunscreen on the back of my legs, fell asleep at Hanama Bay and now when I can sit I can tell that I'm a crispy critter. Yikes!

The craziest thing happened today. We attended a random Laie ward today and Jared noticed that one of the ladies in Sunday School looked and sounded like a lady that used to be our adoption caseworker with Kylie. After the meeting she came over to us and it WAS Debbie! We were just shocked to see her. She was our caseworker that helped us the most with Kylie's adoption... she was the sane one!!! Shortly after our homestudy was approved she became our caseworker. About a month or two before we came home from Michigan she left to go work for the West Valley agency and we lost touch. We found out that she worked for them for a short time until she was transferred to a position at BYU-Hawaii in the student affairs office. She's originally from Hawaii (something that I had forgot) and she now lives here but still owns a home in the Holiday area in SLC. It was great to see her. Small world!!! She was one person I really thought we'd never see again. We showed her a bunch of pictures of Kylie and how much she'd grown. We were so excited.

We are still anxiously waiting for our newest nephew to be born. Jordan and Vaylene's baby was due this past Friday and still nothing yet... hopefully this week he'll finally decide to make his appearance. Come on baby Perry!

I'm so glad you're having a great time! Abbie and I were just talking about you guys yesterday, wondering if you were having fun. She loved the "I love Kylie" in the sand! Love you both...

Looks like you will be home before I have this baby! Who would have thought!!! You guys will have to come visit us when he finally decided to make an entrance. That is, whether we force him out or not!

Looks like fun. Thanks for shoving all this 'fun in the sun' down our throats health care style. Now we're going to have to go back there.

Glad you're having a good time!
