It's been a good day for our household today.
1. Kylie hardly screamed at all today. And slept until 11:30am (you can hate me about that one.)
2. A furniture store in Logan called me today to remind me that I have a credit at their store that is several years old. They were going through old billing and found it. I need to use it in the next two months or it will be gone.
3. Jared drew out a elk tag for a BIG BULL somewhere near Panguitch, Utah. He was shocked to get it with the amount of points he has. He usually puts in for antelope. He's super, super excited. He will get to go for the all the hunts to try to get his tag (bow, muzzleloader, and rifle).
4. I had a small company do a bid for me to do some landscaping in the back yard and the bid came back UNDER what I thought it would be by quite a bit. The backyard looks like death warmed over at the moment. The bid included having a bobcat remove and haul the old sod away, spread 3-6" of new topsoil down in the backyard and side yard, form flowerbeds, install new sprinkler system and benderboard. Basically everything but plant materials, flagstone and sod (we'll take care of those). I'm not sure we'll be able to afford to put the plant materials in until next year and I want to do that myself. Anyway the bid came in less than I was expecting and they seem like they will do a good job! Better yet they have a break inbetween some of their projects so they will probably be able to start in two weeks or so. That means there is a chance I might be able to get in a garden this year!!! I thouht for sure they'd be scheduled out until June or July. Super excited about that.

That is a good day. Nun's not especially excited - he had 13 bonus points and didn't draw for an elk and Jared only had 2 points and did draw. He's lucky on that one. I hope you get some good furniture with your credit. Are you sure you can make a decision in 2 months?
Ah Britta you know me SOOOOOOO well! I hope I can make a decision in two months also. I have major commitment phobia when it comes to furniture.
We are doing landscaping on our front yard and putting in a back yard. I was thinking about talking to you about it. I would love to know who you are using and if they work south of you. I love hearing your fun things that made up your good day.

It's invisible edging you use between the lawn and flowerbed. More inconspicuous than decorative curbing.
